NIADA Academy User Conduct Guidelines

The Academy strives to create an informative, inspiring, engaging, supportive, and fun experience. To ensure that, we ask that all users of the Academy Site and Materials should read and abide by these guidelines: 

• Be polite: always treat instructors and other class participants with consideration. 
• Be respectful: listen to others and be tolerant of all opinions.
• Be kind and compassionate: no insulting, bullying, or harassing.
• Be civil: do not use language that is abusive, defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, or deceptive.
• Stay on topic: use the search option to help you to avoid repeating the same thread. Do not hog the forum. 
• Do not advertise your product or someone else’s. 
• Do not post links to advertisements, commercial solicitations, spam, or malicious software. 
• Stay away from private matters.  
• Stay away from political matters. 
• Respect the privacy of others. 
• If you are participating in a live forum, type your questions in the chat Q&A, or if on video, raise your hand and wait until you’re called upon to speak.

NIADA Academy TERMS OF USE

NIADA Inc. maintains this NIADA Academy website (https://academy.niada.org), any courses offered, and other linked and related sites (the “Site”) for the use of its students, customers, vendors, and other Site users (“Users”) upon agreement to the following terms. Please read the terms carefully before using the Site. Use of this website indicates acceptance of these “Terms of Use” and forms a binding agreement between you and NIADA Inc. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use this Site.

1. Use of Site
NIADA Inc., through the NIADA Academy Site on Thinkific.com, provides various materials, videos, voice and sound recordings, documents, artwork, photos, images, patterns, graphics, text, information, tests, questions, articles, lectures, and other content on this and related sites and in courses offered through this site (the “Materials”).

NIADA Inc. and Course Instructors authorize Users to view the website and its Materials on a computer or mobile device via a web browser, and to download and store a copy of any purchased Materials. A copy of the downloaded purchased Materials may also be printed, provided that Users make no modifications to the Materials, and all copyright and other proprietary notices contained in the original Materials are retained on any copy. You may only download and print Materials from this site for your own personal, non-commercial use.

Unless expressly permitted in writing by NIADA Inc. or its individual Course Instructors, you may not otherwise copy, reproduce, share, distribute, broadcast, publish, enter into a database, display, perform, modify, create derivative works, transmit, rent, lease, loan, auction, sell, or in any way exploit any part of this site. Users will keep all Materials confidential, and will not give away, describe, summarize, or otherwise reveal the Materials or their contents, to any other person or entity.

Any breach of these Terms of Use automatically terminates your authorized use of the Site.

The Materials on this Site are owned and copyrighted by NIADA Inc. or individual course creators, and any unauthorized use of any Materials on this Site may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws. We take the protection of our intellectual property and copyrights seriously.

NIADA Inc. has not reviewed all of these external websites, does not control and is not responsible for any of these sites or their content.
